1. Who we are
This website is operated by Joanna Kołodziej Insurance ("we", "us"), an insurance advisor based in Perth, Scotland, and an appointed representative of The Openwork Partnership. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us about anything in this policy at joanna@kolodziej-insurance.co.uk.
2. What data we collect and why
The only personal data we collect through this website is what you choose to send us via the contact and quick-quote forms:
- your name (contact form),
- your e-mail address and/or phone number,
- the insurance topic you're interested in and your message.
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss your insurance needs. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you initiate (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where your enquiry leads to arranging cover, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell them to anyone.
3. Who processes your data
Messages sent through the forms pass through the following processors:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this website and processes form submissions (Cloudflare Pages).
- Resend, Inc. — delivers your form submission to our e-mail inbox.
- Plausible Insights OÜ — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics (aggregate visit statistics only, no personal profiles). Only active if analytics is enabled.
These providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, transfers are safeguarded by standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
4. Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising or profiling cookies. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics and/or Plausible) is cookieless and does not track you across sites.
5. How long we keep your data
Enquiry e-mails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and then deleted. Where an enquiry leads to arranged cover, records may be retained for longer to meet regulatory record-keeping requirements.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you,
- ask us to correct or delete it,
- restrict or object to its processing,
- receive it in a portable format,
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised; significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
